The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) is an Indian political party emerged in the year 2000 with new energy and enthusiasm in the political arena. Founded by its leader, Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, the party was developed as a capable and dedicated political entity, understanding the issues of the people. Not only was he the organizer of the party, but under his leadership, the LJP also established a new identity by promoting development, equality, and prosperity for people from various sections of society. With his strong leadership, the LJP demonstrated courage to participate in legislative and parliamentary elections and gained popularity among the public through its welfare programs. The LJP made efforts to incorporate socialist principles into its ideology and also worked towards uniting political parties for progress.
Among the distinguished politicians of the country, the late Padma Bhushan Ramvilas Paswan’s birthday is celebrated in many parts of the country every year on 5th July. He was born in the village of Shaharbanni in Khagaria district of Bihar to Shri Jamun Paswan and Shrimati Shanti Devi in the year 1946. On the occasion of his birthday, not only Lok Jan Shakti Party (Ramvilas) workers but also numerous others pay tribute to his contributions, personality, and social upliftment for the welfare of the people, which has benefitted them in various ways for decades.
