Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas)

The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) is an Indian political party that emerged in the year 2000 with new energy and enthusiasm in the political arena. Founded by its leader, Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, the party was developed as a capable and dedicated political entity, understanding the issues of the people. Not only was he the organizer of the party, but under his leadership, the LJP also established a new identity by promoting development, equality, and prosperity for people from various sections of society. With his strong leadership, the LJP demonstrated courage to participate in legislative and parliamentary elections and gained popularity among the public through its welfare programs. The LJP made efforts to incorporate socialist principles into its ideology and also worked towards uniting political parties for progress.

Padma Bhushan Shri Ram Vilas Paswan

Ram Vilas Paswan, who held global recognition in Bihar as well as nationally and internationally, also holds a Guinness World Record that no other leader has been able to break. The record is for winning the most number of Lok Sabha elections through democratic mandates. He achieved this feat in the 1977 Lok Sabha elections, soon after the Emergency. He won the Hajipur seat with a record margin of four lakh votes. Since then, Ram Vilas Paswan and Hajipur became synonymous with each other. The people of Hajipur continuously sent him to the Lok Sabha, and he became deeply embedded in their hearts. In the public gatherings of Hajipur, people often used to say, “Hajipur’s land is like my mother’s.” He remained devoted to Hajipur for his entire life and worked tirelessly for the city, earning him numerous accolades. He played a significant role in establishing new railway zones and national-level institutions in Hajipur. The credit for these developments goes to Ram Vilas Paswan alone.

Chirag Paswan (National President)

Chirag Paswan, an Indian politician, former actor, and the president of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), serving as the 19th Minister of Food Processing Industries since June 2024, and a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from the Hajipur Lok Sabha constituency since 2024. welcomes you to his party’s official website. Born on October 31, 1982, Chirag Paswan carries forward the legacy of his late father, Ram Vilas Paswan, as he passionately serves the people of India. He has made significant contributions to both politics and society, aiming to uplift the state of Bihar and prioritize the welfare of its people.
Chirag Paswan’s commitment to Bihar’s progress is reflected in his “Bihar First, Bihari First” initiative. Through this campaign, he envisions comprehensive development, making Bihar a leading state in India. Alongside his political journey, Chirag Paswan has also established the NGO “Chirag Ka Rojgar,” dedicated to providing employment opportunities to the unemployed youth of Bihar.

M S Jagannath (state President Karnataka)

MS Jagannath, born on June 20, 1975, is the State President of Lok Janshakti Party (RV) Karnataka and Dalit Sene Karnataka. His activism began during his college days, where he led multiple agitations for student welfare, advocating for hostels and PG accommodations in Bengaluru. After a three-year apprenticeship at Karnataka Electricity Board (KEB), he became deeply involved in Dalit movements, eventually joining the Dalit Sene of Late Shri Ram Vilas Paswan. In 2016, he organized a three-day camp in Tumkur, bringing together Shri Ram Vilas Paswan, Shri Ramchandra Paswan, and Shri Chirag Paswan to strengthen the Dalit movement. As State President of LJP (RV) Karnataka, he continues to champion education, employment, and social justice, working towards the political and economic empowerment of marginalized communities.
